Hello

My journey into the backcountry began in the early '90s, carving tracks on telemark skis.

By 1997, I found myself competing in the Scandinavian Extreme Skiing Championships—a fierce yet exhilarating test of skill and grit. In 2003, after years of honing my craft and pushing my limits, I was fortunate enough to stand on the top of the podium, a moment I’ll never forget.

My Story

The winters in the Arctic taught me lessons you can’t learn in textbooks. In 1998, during the grueling Kebnekaise Classic, I and a group of competitors spent a sleepless night in a snow cave, nestled deep in the mountains. That same year, I witnessed an avalanche sweep away a close friend—a stark reminder of nature’s raw power.

Over the years, I’ve grown alongside the winters. They’ve instilled in me an unwavering respect for the mountains and an appreciation for life’s fleeting moments. There’s something profoundly humbling about the way time slips by, like skis gliding down an endless slope.

Today, as a CAA Level 2 certified avalanche professional, my mission is to share these lessons. If you’re looking to learn how to move safely and respectfully through snow-covered mountains and slopes, I’d be honored to guide you. Together, we can explore the backcountry in a way that celebrates both its beauty and its risks.
